About 1Care Health | Hospice, Home Health & Compassionate Care in Nevada
Delivering exceptional hospice and home health services across Nevada with a commitment to dignity, compassion, and community trust.

Welcome to 1Care Health
Improving Lives Through Care.
1Care Health provides a wide range of home‑based services across Nevada — bringing coordinated, patient‑centered support to people where they live. Within this system, 1Care Hospice focuses specifically on hospice and palliative care, delivering comfort, symptom management, and compassionate guidance for patients and families.
As 1Care Health grows, our goal is simple: the right care, in the right place, at the right time — whether that’s hospice & palliative care through 1Care Hospice or other home health and therapy services through our broader organization.
Our Mission & Values
Compassion first. Excellence always. Care that honors dignity at every step.
At 1Care Hospice, our mission is to enhance quality of life for individuals and families facing serious illness—providing comfort, symptom management, and support for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those we serve. We believe the best time to understand hospice and palliative options is before they’re needed, so families can make confident, proactive decisions.
Established in 2020 and serving communities across Nevada—including Reno and Las Vegas— 1Care Hospice is part of 1Care Health, a growing organization dedicated to care at home. While 1Care Hospice focuses on hospice & palliative care, 1Care Health offers a broader range of services so people can get the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

Steve Mooney
Chief Strategic Officer
Steve Mooney joined 1 Management Group in March 2025 and brings with him 24 years of extensive leadership experience across mobile physician groups, home health, and hospice care. His operational insight and heart for patient-centered service are already making a profound impact, accelerating 1Care’s achievements and ensuring the delivery of care that meets the highest standards of CHAP Accreditation and Medicare certification.
Steve’s journey in hospice began more than two decades ago in Phoenix, Arizona, where he served as a community liaison, educating physicians and hospitals about the Medicare Hospice Benefit — a topic often shrouded in stigma and misunderstanding at the time. Driven by a calling to serve the seriously ill population, Steve has always embraced difficult conversations with compassion and clarity, ensuring that patients and families receive the support they need during the most vulnerable seasons of life.
His personal experiences growing up in Memphis, Tennessee, where caring for aging family members was simply a way of life, have deeply shaped his philosophy of service. Steve’s career has spanned roles in business development, executive leadership, and national advocacy, including service on the Regulatory Board for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and as Chair of the Finance and IT Selection Committees for MYNHPCO.
Beyond his professional achievements, Steve is a United States Air Force veteran who served in Presidential security, holds a BA and MBA in Business Management Healthcare, and remains active in his church and community. He and his wife, Amy, are proud parents of three sons and grandparents to four grandchildren.
